During the autumn of 2023 Nordic Diversity Trainers curated the English versions of five Micro Online Courses for the Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Finland.

1. Basics of Self-Leadership

Through this micro-course, you will have clearer understanding of what self-management means and what is to be considered part of it. The course helps you to see your own strengths and development areas in managing yourself and to identify, control and utilise your own emotions in different situations.

2. Fundamentals of change management

In this micro-course, you will learn about the ability to change and the influence of external and internal forces of change in your work. In the reflection tasks included in the course, you will examine the above issues from the point of view of your own work community and your work.

3. The Benefits of Change Management 

This micro-course discusses the reactions to change and how to provide psychological support. The course introduces e.g. Kübler-Ross's change curve, the permanence of change and the impact of organizational culture on change processes and employees' attitudes towards change are examined.

4. Psychological safety and change management 

This micro-course introduces you to the concept of psychological safety. A psychologically safe working community increases work well-being and work productivity. Management plays a key role in creating and maintaining psychological safety. However, each one of us affects the workplace atmosphere.

5. Green transition and sustainable development 

Learn how sustainable development and responsibility affect all our activities. In the course, you learn to identify the concrete actions that you can take to curb climate change and promote the green transition towards a more sustainable future.
