Nordic Diversity Trainers ( www.nordicdiversitytrainers.com ) is a consulting agency based in  Helsinki and specialized in human diversity. Its mission is to support people, organizations and business in order to embrace diversity with respect and integrity, in a sustainable and effective way. 

Nordic Diversity Trainers Oy was founded in autumn 2018 after its founders having worked in the NGO field since more than 20 years.  Due to this experience, focus and organization, NDT are in a unique position to offer the best solutions and programs for crisis intervention, education and sustainable diversity development. NDT provides services and tools to businesses, schools and organizations in order to embrace and benefit of diversity with respect and integrity, in a sustainable and effective way.  

 Diversity Seminars, Respect Classes and Guardian Angel Workshops (Forum Theatre) are ready-made concepts standing by and have been used since 2018 in schools, universities, business and organisations. NDT also supports partners in evaluating specific needs and to improve on the situation. The elements of the  programs can be arranged accordingly.  

 Nordic Diversity Trainers are having paid staff and a network of leading experts in the field who have committed as freelancers and provide the possibility to react on different tasks, projects and needs. Almost all staff, speakers and trainers carry different academic degrees in business and organization, social science and education, or carry other significant merits. Christian Thibault has been awarded with the Finnish Cross of Honor for his diversity work in 2008, Susheela Daniels received the Global Family Award in 2015.  

As a business our vision and mission leads to our specialization on CSR and SHR related diversity issues. This, as well as our values, ´Integrity-Respect-Sustainability´ obligate us to live up to the highest ethical and charitable standards in everything we do as an organization.

Apart from being profitable and working according to the given legal framework, we will make sure to be free from discrimination and human, animal and environmental exploitation. So don´t be surprised when we will offer you vegan snacks at our events. They will be delicious!

When working abroad, we will apply the regional as well as the international demands and boost the communities we work in. Our aim is to leave a positive footprint wherever we go.

Here is Shanti, whom Nordic Diversity

Trainers now has become a monthly sponsor/guardian angels to. Shanti is a two year old female Indian street dog who was abandoned twice. When she was young she injured her leg and her first adopter never took her to the vet resulting in the leg becoming disabled. Shanti now moves around with three legs and according to the doctors, she will never be able to walk on the disabled leg.

Now she has finally found a home on an organic farm for rescued dogs at the outskirts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. There are around twenty rescued street dogs living on the farm. Starting from January 2021, Nordic Diversity Trainers will be donating a small amount monthly, for Shantis upkeep at the farm (including her monthly food, care and medical expenses). We will update you about her wellbeing here on our page.
